It is astonishing how close this event occurred. I was nearly six months old at the time, precisely two days shy of reaching that milestone. Born on March 18, 1958, this photograph was taken on September 16, 1958. Therefore, two days after this picture was taken, I would have been six months old. It is crucial to recognize that when discussing such matters, it is essential to avoid dwelling on the past and instead focus on the present and future. However, as humans, we are prone to forgetfulness due to our limited memory capacity. This makes us susceptible to repeating the same mistakes repeatedly if we fail to learn from our actions. This is a characteristic of our species, as our relatively short lifespan hinders our ability to retain long-term memories. For instance, events that occurred 20 or 40 years ago may seem like a distant past to us, considering our average lifespan of 60 to 80 years.
