It Wasn’t Always So
I have a friend, and he is a friend, who thinks my stance on certain sects of the Muslim parts of the world are wrong and that's okay. You see he and many others are too young to remember when Iran was Free, when women and girls could go to school, drive and enjoy the freedoms the rest of the world has now. He's too young to remember when the Shah of Iran allowed all these things. He wasn't alive when they took our 400 hostages and wouldn't know the friends I lost when they bombed our barracks in Beirut. He doesn't understand that there are Shite, Shia and Sunni Muslims, He doesn't understand, all the terrorism in the world is caused by Iran and the Shite and Shia Muslims. He wasn't alive when the Shite's took over Iran, and forced everyone back into the 7th century, he hasn't lost friends to these people, so he doesn't know who the Shite and Shia Muslims really are and just how many hardline Shite Muslims there really are. He doesn't understand that they all consider us the infidels and if we don't bow to the Prophet Mohammed and Allah, then they consider us Pigs or Dogs and want us dead. He doesn't understand that in the Shite and Shia world, women are no better than cattle. He doesn't understand that they think killing us makes them a martyr and worthy to be in the presence of of Allah. HE doesn't know nor understand all the deaths and destruction caused by the Shite sects.
He's never seen these things up close and personal. He doesn't understand the mindset of a Shite or Shia Muslim. He doesn't understand that in the Shite and Shia world, it is perfectly acceptable to take a 6 year old as a bride and have sex with them at 9. There are many things he doesn't understand about that world. I hope and pray, he and many others never have to understand the reality of that world.
