When it comes to our Immigration laws, I see a lot of you throwing out Bible verses when you've never really read the Bible. If you had, you would see, God warned Israel of the problems they would have by letting foreigners into their land. They were warned, they would end up losing their customs as they took on the customs of the foreigners, they were warned they would end up worshipping the gods and idols of those foreigners. There were rules for allowing foreigners into their lands. The foreigners were to follow the rules and assimilate into Israel, not the other way around. Many of Israel's kings lost favor with God because they took up the customs and gods of their foreign wives. All of Israel eventually lost favor with God because they too ended up worshipping the foreign idols and gods. No one is against immigration, we are however, insisting that they immigrate legally, and not invade our country. We do insist they assimilate into our customs and learn our language, not try and turn our country into the place they fled from. It really is that simple. God eventually divorced Israel, because they took on the customs, idols and gods of those foreigners who migrated and invaded Israel. God warned us that there were consequences for allowing foreigners into our lands unchecked. God warned us we would eventually lose our country for allowing unchecked immigration into our country. History repeats itself over and over again.
