Lead, Follow, or Get Out of the Way

It’s been rough and rocky traveling but we’re finally standing upright on the ground.

Back in ’22, when Vic and I were on our separate porches, both in Austin and Nashville, and came up with this crazy idea to start a movie company, I had no idea it was gonna go this far. He was just coming off COVID and I was just coming off a total collapse and I suppose both of us were coming off life and ready to cash in our chips.

But we literally picked ourselves up by our slippers and began writing a screenplay. Perhaps you’ll see it someday. All the other projects keep getting in the way because there was a third party involved. God. Seems He had a plan. If we couldn’t save America, maybe we could at least save Texas. A mighty crew came out of nowhere and Rusty Joiner with Miss Ashley Seal threw in with us and we took off. We started with one movie we never completed because God told us, “Not that one, this one,” and Ashley and Rusty blended their formidable skills to make Kielia fly in from the future and land in Austin. Suddenly, Austin was the place to be! Between Rusty’s direction, Ashley’s smile, and a little help from our friends Witt & Wittier came alive.

Nobody can see the future, but someone had to do something! We saw that something was good ol’ God, family, and country, in that order. The pandemic cost us all. It literally destroyed American civilization and corrupted our children, destroyed our schools, and instituted abomination at every turn. But God said, “NO!”

There are still good, Godly people left, looking for direction. Just look up. It’s not old fashioned to marry someone you met in school. It’s not woke to accept every cornball idea that comes out breaking all the rules and ruining the American family. It’s time a teenage girl and her best friend can walk down to the mall to window shop in perfect safety.

As we remember our dead let us raise up our living. Our kids. Teach them the right way. Literacy for Texas children is job one because if our children keep following the i-whatever that road leads nowhere. Let’s turn back the clock a bit. Nothing wrong with that. Take a sip of that shake. Take in a Texas sunset. They’re free! What did you come to the desert to see? The garden has always been there. You could have seen it had you only looked.
