Cherokee Nation Will Return

 

Gather around, I’m gonna preach to you one more time. I talked to you, now I’m gonna preach. I was listening to the news, like I do every morning. First the news, then the weather, then the pollen count. The weather was of no consequence. Texas is currently on pre-heat. Our northern neighbors on vacation in San Antonio call it global warming but it’s just God’s yearly reminder of what’s waiting for us should we not turn from sin!

 

Can I have an Amen?

 

What most intrigued me was the news, particularly one item. Now I have extreme sympathy and empathy for children, especially trafficked little girls. And you would not believe the slander I’ve taken over the years for that. Yes! Oh yes. “Oh, Wilbur, why do you bring that up?” Up to the point of comparing me to those who did not hear Jesus prescribing milestones for people who consort with this abomination. The attack on our children is multi-faceted. The Devil can multi-task, and no, I won’t just sit by. I won’t back down!!

 

So what I’m about to tell you is bitter medicine. Spiritual chemo-therapy. Your hair will fall out! But it needs saying. When the current altercation in the Middle East lit up I saw a political cartoon. Two frames. The first one showed a man, obviously of Middle Eastern Descent, sneaking up on a hornet’s nest with a switch! On the nest was the Star of David. The man’s intent was obvious. He was gonna swat that hornet’s nest with a switch. The next frame showed the man standing before all manner of news media with sores all over his face. You do the math. The implications are clear.

 

When Hamas took it upon itself to shoot up a music festival the world drew back in horror. The Israelis buried their dead, went to synagogues, and made plans to leave their nest for a little even up. But, even while Mr Netanyahu was officially announcing that this atrocity would not be ignored, the Fake News Network, the FNN, was spinning the story.

 

Israel jumped on the Gaza Strip like a mongoose on a snake. As they purged the region extensive tunnels were found in position to attack Israel. And brothers and sisters, I was raised In Simmonsville Texas. Many of my childhood friends graduated from the University of the Texas Department of Corrections, affectionately known as “Wassa Matta U!” I KNOW you don’t dig tunnels like that over the weekend.

And so Gog and Maygog gathered for battle. Just as they did in 1947, 1967, and all the other times they went after that hornet’s nest with a switch. And now Israel, not Hamas is called to answer to The World Court. The hostages, who are dying in captivity as we speak have been forgotten. Treated worse than dogs. I crappith thee not. Posters with pictures of hostages are torn down. If an old lady loses her poodle and puts up posters asking for people to be on the lookout for the pooch no one in their right mind would dare tear it down. But a poster of a Jewish girl currently held against her will in some damp tunnel in the desert gets destroyed almost before the ink dries. And Woke students in American colleges march for Gaza! Where is their humanity, and common sense?

 

I understand the political landscape of the former Palestine, now Israel. I know the people that were there in 1945 were moved  to the “reservation.” I know it hurts. But I’m not hypocritical enough to sit here on Comanche land and pass judgement on the Jews. The Jewish people were run off by the Romans. They just came back. Deal with it.

 

When the White Man enforced Manifest Destiny on the Nations the Native Americans fought long and hard. Talk about illegal immigrants! If you ain’t got a feather in your hair you ain’t from here. And what did the Indians do? They changed their war dance. Casinos began popping up. You see, the tribes began to realize that whenever they lucked into a blessing, some paleface would come up with a way to take it. Found gold in the Black Hills? Half of the American army moved them down to Oklahoma. Struck oil in Oklahoma? Arizona! So they came up with something better than gold or oil. Casinos. The new war chant? “We took all the White Man’s Money for what he did to our country!”  And mistreatment of the Nations goes on to this very day! In Brigham City Utah there is a large “I” carved into the side of a mountain. And it does not stand for “Intelligence!” That’s where they kept the Indians.

So yes. I do understand the Palestinian anger. But I understand this, too. The Jews ain’t going nowhere! Better make that switch an olive branch. But the attack on Israel is malignant. The systematic attack on America is ongoing. It has become business as usual to run the country down. A man can’t even run for president without getting his ear shot off. What should be just another presidential election evokes talk of a civil war. Yeah! Let’s talk about that. One hundred and sixty-three years ago while Al-Arabi was sitting over there eating dates and consorting with his wives we were losing six hundred and fifty thousand Americans to resolve what? Slavery. A time-honored practice still supported by many Islamic countries. And consequently, the darker the skin color the more slaves they have. Change my mind!

 

If America treated the Middle East like they did the Indians there wouldn’t BE no more Middle East. Ya Ta Hey would be retranslated to “Kick their ass and take their gas!” Oh, they’d run to the World Court but all they’d get would be, “You makee no iPhones!” Palestinians! Welcome to the world. Start casinos!

 

Do I have sympathy for the children. Yes! And for the people if Gaza. But THEY opted for The Banditos to run their country. What did they think was going to happen. What does the man on the Street think? He don’t think nothing ‘cause Gaza ain’t gotno streets! Did you ever notice the Arab counties didn’t open their borders to welcome their Muslim “brothers” in? No. They barely sent a Shish Kbob! Help from the Gringos was there. They are the ones who take the hit while trying to serve a hot dog to a child. I hate to tell you, War is Hell. Now FNN is warning of a wider war. It’s the end of the world! If you ask the Mormons it might be. But I don’t think so. God has a plan. It never changed. He destroyed humanity. Then he built it back. He strained all the peoples of the earth down to one group. Then he filtered that down to one little girl. Then he had her give us the answer. And the answer sat on the Mount of Olives and told us line by line exactly what you’re seeing now. But the plan never changed. YOU did!
